The Ross Cup
President’s Welcome
A big welcome to all players to the 28th Ross Cup in Turkiye, one of our biggest and best events ever! In 2026, we will have 72 golfers competing in the Ross Cup representing three distinct countries, Italy, Greece and Turkiye.
A big Ross Cup welcome to all new players playing in their first Ross Cup and all returning players as well. This year, the Ross Cup will be a three round tournament held over the entire week with one game of Night Golf for those interested in this experience.
The Ross Cup is being held at four golf courses, Faldo Golf Course at Cornelia Diamond, the National Golf Club, and Carya Golf Club Course and Lykia Links. These courses are among the best in Turkiye and are challenging golf courses. Carya is the Number One golf course in Turkiye.
The Resort hosting the players is the Cornelia Diamond Resort, a Five Star Luxury Resort, just minutes from the golf courses and right on the Beach. It’s an All Inclusive Resort and is highly recommended in Turkiye.
Three teams are competing for the 2026 Ross Cup, Italy, Greece, and Turkiye, and each group has been provided uniforms in the colors of the team they are playing for in the competition.
The first game will take place on Monday, May 11, starting at 11:40 AM at Faldo Golf Club with a Two Person Scramble. All the teams have been balanced with equal skill, so it should be a fun, competitive event to get the lay of the land in Turkiye.
The second round of the Ross Cup will be on Wednesday, May 13th, with a Two Person Scramble at the National Golf Club. Matches will start at 1:06 PM and continue til 3:48 PM.
The third round of the Ross Cup on Friday, May 15th will be a Two Person Scramble at Carya Golf Course and the Lykia Links. Matches will begin at 9:50 AM and continue till 12:40 PM, and each team will play twelve matches.
There will be five foursomes playing at Lykia Links simultaneously, and will be shuttled to Carya Golf Club after their rounds.
The results from all three days will determine the winner of the 2026 Ross Cup, and we will have a presentation on the last day at Carya Golf Club, all golfers are encouraged to stay at the course until the event concludes.
There is a fun round under the lights on Tuesday night, 36 players are taking part, should be a fun time.
Hoping the weather will cooperate, and we will have an outstanding competition between the three teams, and may the best team emerge victorious.
Good Luck to All Players
Ted Mader
